2020: Founding & Headset AR Brothers Sean and Wylie Chenoweth co-founded Aircada, targeting headset-based industrial AR. The launch integrated Microsoft HoloLens 2 and spatial anchors to overlay guides onto factory plant rooms during Aircada's Origins: The Industrial AR Era.
Late 2020: Gemini Observatory Pilot Deployed an industrial SCADA AR pilot at the Gemini Observatory in Chile, integrating Aircada with VTScada past the facility firewall to monitor meters in real-time. This milestone earned Aircada an NSF pitch award in Washington during the Gemini Telescope SCADA Pilot.
2021: Spatial Optimization Engineered custom client-side caching of spatial anchor coordinates, accelerating Azure Spatial Anchor recognition speeds by 10x, detailed in Wylie's 10x Spatial Optimization.
2023: Accelerator & Pre-Seed Funding Aircada entered the Long Beach Accelerator and secured pre-seed funding, followed by a pre-seed SAFE note from Sequoia Scout SAFE Note Funding.
Late 2023: The Web 3D Pivot Triggered by headset EOL and Unity licensing shifts, Aircada initiated its Pivot: Exiting Industrial Headset AR and completed a full Pivot to Web 3D.
2024: MountainFlow Launch & Dogfooding Launched our first Shopify client customizer for the MountainFlow Bottle Configurator and refined our capabilities through extensive Dogfooding & Maturation.
2025-2026: AI Agentic Shift & Developer SDK Pivoted the platform to prompt-driven scene generation during the AI Agentic Configurator Shift and released the 2026 Developer SDK Release.
