3D camera choreography directs the customer's visual focus to the exact part of the product currently being customized. When a user transitions from selecting a case finish to configuring a watch clasp or engraving a monogram, the camera smoothly animates to a tailored vantage point.

Aircada camera presets define the target anchor point in 3D space, polar/azimuthal orbit angles, distance bounds, and field of view (FOV).

Common camera archetypes include: 3/4 Hero Orbit (overall silhouette), Macro Close-up (high-resolution dial/enamel detail), Tapered Profile (bracelet and lugs), and Normal-Aligned Orthographic/Perspective (caseback laser engravings).

  • Contextual Staging: Match camera angle presets directly to the active customization step's focus area.
  • Orbit Constraints: Configure min/max polar and distance limits to prevent the user from clipping through geometry or disorienting the scene.
  • Smooth Transition Interpolation: Utilize spherical linear interpolation (slerp) for seamless camera motion between steps.
  • FOV Optimization: Use 45° to 50° FOV for product showcases to avoid wide-angle perspective distortion on metallic edges.
